Rooster soup

By

The good stuff

this one is good

I came across a really good Ramen noodle recipe the other day while surfing the Internet so I did what I always do when I find a new one. Twisted it until the whole thing was up to my standards had the right texture, and most of all the spiciness that marks the spot. After about a case of soups and half a bottle Rooster sauce, I thought what about if I tried a little bit of Peanut butter, How would that taste? Since I have used this very distinct flavor before in some of my other Asian dishes I figured,"What the Hell let’s give it a shot”. So here it is, give it a try and let us know what you think...

2 beef ramen soups

1/2 tbsp Sriracha sauce(Rooster sauce)

2 cloves garlic

1/4 yellow onion

1-2 gluggs evoo

1 tbsp jif peanut butter

Start by cooking the two soups Al-dente, leave the noodles bricks whole, drain completely set aside. Next, grab the big cast iron skillet hit the stove with it on high, dice up the onion, garlic , pour in a couple of glugs of evoo drop in the veggies cook real fast add the noodles give a few good squirts of rooster sauce, stir fry the whole thing until the noodles are crisp, then add the jif peanut butter mix the whole thing up.

There you have it, I call it Rooster soup, and it is good!

Well, I'll have to try this. It sounds interesting. But, first I'll have to google evoo. I've never heard of that before.

It's a slang term that some chef's and caterers use for Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Thanks for checking out my recipe Emile R, it is always fun reading what you have to say

this sounds good and easy. I cook almost exclusively for my household so I'm always looking for new recipes. Have you tried this with other pastas similiar to ramen noodles, like angel hair pasta? Add mushrooms? peppers?

oh yes! this stuff is very good for just about anything(execpt egg omlets) it is very spicy and has a good alround flavor just don't over do it for the kids. let them try it first so they know how hot it is. rooster sauce is real good in any kind of stir fry, pasta sauce(let it cook for a while in the sauce) or anything you want to spice up. give it a try...

sure kids like spicy food too. didn't you when you were young? Rooster sauce is just one of many diferent hot/spicy sauces that make just about anything taste better. Sometimes it even makes the dish or sauce work better than just plain ol hot sauce. Yes I would like to know how it went for you and don't be shy take a look at some of my other recipes you might find something you like...
